Today's big story is that Roberto Carlos is set to move to Chelsea for £20 Mill at the age of 31 that is an excessive amount of money for someone of that age and what will this mean for Wayne Bridge? and im sure Franky Lampard will not be happy at Carlos' reported 120k a week wages!
In other news, Smith seem's set to have a medical on wednedsday at OT in a deal which will see Danny Pugh go the other way. Birmingham are closing in on Muzzy Izzet and Dickov and Darren Purse is set for a move to Norwich City for 500k a snip seeing as though there were figures of £5 mill flying around a few years ago.
Anymore for anymore?

I didn't laugh at that. But I did chuckle at comments that Chelsea would then go on and win it, only to be dumped out by little Monaco!
Still, I was rather hoping Chelsea would win it after they put us out.

Well, since it was a time where several Arsenal fans were boasting that they would win the treble and in turn were dumped out of 2 competitions in consecutive weeks it was indeed funny..
Woooooooooooooooooooooooo!

apart from the current 5 (henry, vieira, pires, aliadiere, clichy) i can't think of any other french men. that's a lot but 2 of them aren't even first team regulars, but good squad players.
as for left footers, apart from reyes and clichy...
?
i don't think any of you apart from colourless can laugh at the fact chelsea knocked us out. seeing as 'pool and man yoo didn't even make it that far. and chelsea have been beaten by us enough times this year.

i'd rather be a laughing stock for having a bottomless pit of money than for being 80mill in debt as we were before

Not sure.
But i sure was laughing when they knocked Arsenal out of the champions league!

Norwich City might be in for Martin Keown according to BBC Teletext.
