The Ford SVT Lightning's good too. Just do the Stage 2 weight reduction like your Dodge, and if you want, shove a racing chip in there for good measure, for all they cost.

That's what I'm most looking forward to. Pity I have to get 25% complete first, only another 19% to go and I've already been playing for about 16 hours or something!

I'm not really playing the game like that. I tend to buy a car for a particular set of races, tune it a bit, then sell it and put the money towards another car for another championship. I only need to do the Lightweight and Speedster races and I'll be finished with the beginner league. Just now I'm trying to get the funds for the Catheram Firestorm which is gonna set me back 60K.
