....and it's brilliant. The handling is way better than I thought. It's perfect. Best game for a long time. Wonder if I was the first to play it here.

Use B-Spec mode:

Select Endurance Race
Select B-Spec
Set to Overtake/Push Hard
Set to x3 speed

Make cup of tea.

Thanks for the idea but I don't think a Honda NSX will qualify for the remaining races in the beginner league.

Just won the Japan championship in my Nismo I won in the licences. Kitted my self 70,000 in total and won this Nissan Z race car, 5% through the game so far. Not looking forward to these endurance races.

Save up and buy yourself an NSX. The standard model will blow anything away from the beginner league. I have a heavily modded 300ZX, so whenever I need money fast I enter the 'Z' Special event in the Nissan section. It's 7,500 credits a win, and the races aren't that long. Using the cheat discs would probably waste a game like this.

You can only win the cars on the License tests once. However you can win cars from races multiple times. All you need to do is enter a race from a completed section and you will be asked if you want to erase all records (this doesn't effect your win ratio) select clear records and you can play through the same section again and win another car.

Was just wondering if anyone else who has the game is interested in some time trial challenges?

We could all pick a track and a car and see who can come up with the best lap time on a time trial? Could even set up a little league on it if there is enough interest.

What you think?

GT4 seriously annoyed me this afternoon. I spent over 30,000 on an MG so I could go for the MR championship and the Roadster championship. After 30,000 it was still a useless pile of crap. It takes about 25 years to change gear and it accelerates like a snail. It's the beginner league for crying out loud! It's not meant to be hard. Doesn't matter how well I drive around the corners and I do drive very well, as soon as I get out onto the straight, every other car just goes flying past my crappy little MG. I hate that car and I can't even sell it because I will only get 10% of what I have spent on it. That Ultimate Cheat disc is looking a lot more tempting.

Never tried it, but it seems unlikely.

Question: When you win a car once, can you win it again in the same way?

I just sold some car, thinking I could buy it again, but unfortunately I can't. Can I win it again, by doing the same races?
