Can you switch off B mid race?
It would be useful for doing the same race over and over to get some extra cash but I can't see any other good use for it.
It's good if you're doing the endurance races, and it's good if you can't be bothered to repeat the same race 100 times just to get enough credits to buy a new car.
Shaneo, having read your review of this, I noticed your talking about this "B-Spec" thing, where you basically don't play it.

I used the Autobianchi that I won for that. Put a turbo-charger in it and made a few other modifications and it did the job well enough.
