Reports from Japan on Daily Radar indicate that to avoid a PS2-like launch, Nintendo have put the Gamecube BACK to September in Japan. The GAMECUBE will be in US stores in time for Christmas when it arrives in November but there seems to be no word on how this will affect the GAMECUBE EURO Launch...I guess we'll have to see.
Hopefully Nintendo will get the consoles in in the last minute and save christmas yet again, but if anyting should go wong and Nintendo miss out on christmas sales then The Gamecube might be finished before it is released!

As a followup to today's press release about the Gamecube delay, Grix Thraves was said to be in a panic about his Gameaday choice of prizes. In an interview he said:
"I'm devastated. I had my heart set on Metroids before Christmas. FM told me it would be Spring 2002, but I just didn't want to believe him."
(You should have listened, you know that guy's always right...)
"Shut up!!!"
We tried to get hold of FM for an exclusive interview, but he was not available for comment as he was attending a meeting chaired by Bill Gates on "My X-Box, Why it's Great, and My Plans for World Domination without the Paperclip".

By the way Game, the GameCube was confirmed for a spring 2002 release, so it certainly won't be here in time for Xmas!!!

is this is true, it is a major blow. I couldnt really see GC coming out in July anyway. I mean they havnt even shown any playable demos yet. But dont believe everything u read on daily radar.
