"Nintendo: GAMECUBE DELAYED"

Reports from Japan on Daily Radar indicate that to avoid a PS2-like launch, Nintendo have put the Gamecube BACK to September in Japan. The GAMECUBE will be in US stores in time for Christmas when it arrives in November but there seems to be no word on how this will affect the GAMECUBE EURO Launch...I guess we'll have to see.

Hopefully Nintendo will get the consoles in in the last minute and save christmas yet again, but if anyting should go wong and Nintendo miss out on christmas sales then The Gamecube might be finished before it is released!

(Fight the urge.)

Ok... But anyway, the delay is a good thing, not a bad. This guarantees a good launch with some great titles, and enough to go around.

(There will be limited stock, of course, and people will be disapointed. But I expect the stock of games will be gone faster than the machines.)

Until both machines are out and I can play them and make an informed decision, my vote rests with the Gamecube.

I'd just like to mention that the reason that Nintendo are pushing back the launch, is because they want to get it RIGHT, not to pay more attention to the GBA. Obviously I could refer to a certain console, but I refuse to.
