Reports from Japan on Daily Radar indicate that to avoid a PS2-like launch, Nintendo have put the Gamecube BACK to September in Japan. The GAMECUBE will be in US stores in time for Christmas when it arrives in November but there seems to be no word on how this will affect the GAMECUBE EURO Launch...I guess we'll have to see.

Hopefully Nintendo will get the consoles in in the last minute and save christmas yet again, but if anyting should go wong and Nintendo miss out on christmas sales then The Gamecube might be finished before it is released!

I can see him running down the road now singing: "Let's All Go to San Francisco."

Odd that. Tony hasn't been on today.

-------------

Tony, about to announce the competition on the forums, looked at the tickets on the chair... the money...

Tony looked back at the screen. He logged in.

"Toooonnnnnnnnnnnyyyyy?"

What was that?"

"Toooonnnnnnnnnnnyyyyy? Toooooooooooooooonnnnnyyy? Forget them Toooooooonnnnnnnyyyyyy! Use use yourseeeeeelllllfffffff!"

The tickets were talking to him... was this real?

"Coooommmmeeeeee ooonnnnnnnnnn Toooooonnnnnyyyyyyy! Leeeettttt'ss gooooo tooo LlllAaaaaaa!"

Tony placed his hands over his ears... and placed his head in his lap...

"EEEE3333333, EEEEE33333333, EEEE33333333!"

"BAHHHHHHHHHH!" Tony screamed, grabbed the tickets and money, and ran out the door.

Fate leant through the kitchen door. "Tony, dinner's ready."

"Tony?"

Yes, we always do the stockings first, then have breakfast, then we all dive in and rip open the presents under the tree. Real pagan stuff. Jesus doesn't really get a look in.

E3 will rock this year, I'm just waiting for Tony to announce that he's running a competition to give away 5 pairs of tickets and flights (accommodation and $1000 spending money included of course).

He's leaving it a bit late though....

To me, yes. E3 should be celebrated widely, and we should all get live linkups, and join in on the fun.

You can have your presents AFTER breakfast.

Would you say E3 was more of a religious festival than Christmas?

I agree that the delay is a good thing.

That was such an annoying remark, its better then Microsoft releasing to make more money when the people need to upgrade because of the problems. Its better then SONY releasing it before it was ready. Its better then making a 2 week holdback delay like SEGA did 1 day before the Dreamcast. but then again every games company in the world has delayed games, software or hardware. Nintendo have announced this to cover there own backside, they don't want the press having a field day in 3 months time.
