First up, which would you pick - Chris Read or Geraint Jones?

It would have to Chris Read for me. I just think he's better in all areas of his game than Jones. Fletcher doesn't seem to think so though...

I think it'll be over pretty quickly. The pitch has cracked up and that's bound to be good for Warne, although he can get spin pretty much anywhere.

Nice to see Collingwood playing well though. I can't believe that someone said his place isn't safe. I thought he was England's best player through the recent difficulties.

It really isn't looking good... out of practice, off form and minus Marcus Trescothick. It'd be a miracle if we can get a draw out of this!

Well, this first test is turning into a bit of an embarrassment. England will have to bat for a couple of days to try and draw this game.

Well, the first day was about all I was expecting. Australia dominant with the bat and England with it all to do.

Still debate about whether it should be Monty or Giles. I still think Monty would be better because he is more of an attacker.

Looks like Ian Bell may have picked up an injury in training, just what we all needed to hear...
