We all have games that we HAD to get on release day. What were they for you? Did they live up to expectations?
There's only 2 games ive bought on day of release, they were MSR and B&W. MSR definately lived up to my hopes. B&W is good, but i think i need to play it some more to really get into it.
That would be amazing!
BTW, someone said they were looking forward to 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker? I got the demo with this months ODM, and its pants!
Crazy Taxi 2 looks like it could be good though!
Half Life on DC will never be as good as the PC version as you cant download extra maps and addons etc like you can with the PC. Unless it's included on the GD-ROM we will never experience the delights of Opposing Force and all the rest.
Most anticipated game at present: 18-Wheeler (DC) and MGS2 (PS2).
Another game would have to be GT3, I dont think much of sony as a company or the Playstation 2 as a machine but there is no doubt that the options and graphics on the game will be amazing. reflections, mapping lighing are all there in abundance and they all make the game look great.
The last game I can think of will be Sonic Adventure 2. The first one was like playing Mario in 'real' 3D for the first time, it again was revolutionary and I am sure with the unique magic that comes from the Sonic Team that was also shown in PSO etc will be shown in the game.
3 platforms with very promising titles, it just goes to show that no matter what console you have there will always be games to keep you occupied!
