Since Monday the broadband service has been either intermittent or non-existent, giving me a latency of 3000+ on WoW.
I finish work and am home by 11am, ready to play for the day and enjoy this game.
Only to find myself repeatedly disconnected or, on occasion, lagged beyond belief to the extent it's unplayable.

Poxy idiotic NTL and their call-centre monkeys that can't offer a time-frame on the problem, nor can they explain why it's been like this since Xmas.
Another 30 mins and then I'm phoning again.

That's BS, I've been jerked around a bit by Blueyonder but nothing like that. Aren't there any other cable companies in your area, or is it just too much hassle to change?

I had trouble with NTL when I lived in Cambridge too. Seeme like they suck all over, even though the packages are quite good and competitively priced.

I generally find now that instead of having a crap connection all day, it's non-existant in the morning, ok-ish mid-day, then acceptable at about 10 at night, with small bursts of nothingness at random intervals for random amounts of time.

Now do you see why I get such lousy scores at CS?
