"Giving Blood"

I was going to give blood today at college... but the 'Bloodmobile' (Presumably like the batmobile) couldn't reverse into the drive becase it was too big so we can to wait ages now. Gah.

Anyway it would've been the first time I'd have given blood because you cant donate younger than 17. A lot of people think it's particularly horrible to have blood sucked out of you but I think it's a pretty nice gesture. "Here sick bleeding dying person, have some blood!"

Thoughts on the matter?

I'm sorry, but just thinking about it makes me feel ill. I just can't bring myself to do it. I have problems with needles and with the thought of them taking my blood out. Saying that, I need a check up at the sexual health clinic and of course the HIV test involves taking blood. So I'll do it for myself but not for others... what a selfish brat I am.

Heh - Well today I've not had any for over a week but next time the blood people come to my college which will be next week I think, I wont be able to donate which really sucks (feel free to make inuendos). I think they're going to visit every 3 months though (I think thats the maximum amount of time you can give blood, every 3 months.

Sorry. Didn't make myself clear. Its more likely that a straight person has heppititis (whatever) than a gay man has HIV / AIDS.

Enough about that.

I was at a mate's house the other day and we watched Pulp Fiction. Heh, after the bit were travolta has to give that dumb broad the adrenaline shot, me mate passed out.....for like 2 seconds!

He said "What happened then?!" and ran upstairs, freaked out. He had a cold sweat for about 10 minutes afterwards.

The last thing he said he remembered was when the guy goes to Travolta " you have to stab hard so it penetrates through her the breast plates" (or whatever he says)
