"Giving Blood"

I was going to give blood today at college... but the 'Bloodmobile' (Presumably like the batmobile) couldn't reverse into the drive becase it was too big so we can to wait ages now. Gah.

Anyway it would've been the first time I'd have given blood because you cant donate younger than 17. A lot of people think it's particularly horrible to have blood sucked out of you but I think it's a pretty nice gesture. "Here sick bleeding dying person, have some blood!"

Thoughts on the matter?

I've given blood 12 times but they won't let me do it any more.

The first time I went they were reluctant because they said it'd make me too weak afterwards, but I said "Let me do it once and if I go weak then I won't come again" - they did it and I was fine ... until the 12th time when I did go all wobbly and pass out. It was purely a physical thing - I have no problems with the sight of blood or needles.

Oh...yeah he was going to..£20..but he didn't like the thought of little him's running around..can't say i do either!

I dread to think how he gets his swimmers checked for free.

I fit that criteria! But i couldnt give blood anyway. Not being old enough yet, and also suffering from hayfever means you can't doesnt it? Oh and there's the fact i've been on antibiotics for the last 3 years. Surely that is a factor.

I gave 30ml for some research in our lab, I was supposed to give 50ml but I went so white and shacky that the medic taking it thought it better to stop at 30. I don't think I go a whole pint.

i'd give blood though i'm scared of needles.

I`m a great fan of needles.
I`ve had loads of injections in my life so im used to them.

I don`t really care if i`ve gotta have another injection now cos i`m used to them.I don`t mind seing other peoples blood.
