This is just a re-iteration of love. We need them every now and then.

I currently have The Battle of Los Angeles on, almost full volume.

It's just utter class.

Sleep Now In The Fire has just come on. Utter, utter class.

In the words of Gamezfreak - 'Rage fu*king rule. Period'.

Rage are just so consistent, so utterly energetic and powerful. Having 'Bulls On Parade' on at full blast, the live version, with the ever spine-tingling crowd is just incredible.

Er...ah yes, Bulls on Parade! Speaking of which, i have at last worked out EXACTLY how Mr. Morello does the scrathing emulation in the solo, through watching the videos and hours of experimentation. To cut a long story short in a way (which will only make sense to other guitarists who are familiar with Tom's playing style): Crybaby.

Very good band. Though, I have to say I prefer having Pearl Jam on loud (especailly their live performances).

So, In review:

Pearl Jam > Rage > *insert tarty bands here* > Nirvana

Rage were indeed an amazing band, shame they split up for no apparent reason (although apparently the american government blackmailed Zakk De La Rocha and forced him to break up the band, or so say some of the people in a couple of chat rooms i was in a while ago.....). There's a RATM tribute around called 'Article 27', anyone heard about them? I heard a demo sometime last year i think, and its very nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. Fave track? Know Your Enemy!!!!
