This is just a re-iteration of love. We need them every now and then.

I currently have The Battle of Los Angeles on, almost full volume.

It's just utter class.

Sleep Now In The Fire has just come on. Utter, utter class.

In the words of Gamezfreak - 'Rage fu*king rule. Period'.

Rage are just so consistent, so utterly energetic and powerful. Having 'Bulls On Parade' on at full blast, the live version, with the ever spine-tingling crowd is just incredible.

Relatively yes.

Trouble is his lyrics are just the best. Evah.

Anyway, listening to 'Roll Right' now - my Rage song of the moment. The guitar is quality.

de la Rocha's voice does annoy me on occasions.

But you are correct, Billy Corgan's is A LOT more annoying.

Annoying? I can accpet if people say Billy Corgan's voice is annoying, but not de la Rocha's/

That's from 'Freedom' isn't it? Quality song. So that particular verse might not be especially amazing. But please, do go and write a song, from Morello guitar to angry, poignant and effective lyrics. And make it sound as good and just insanely cool as songs like 'Sleep Now in The Fire'

Apparently they split up because they wasn't working well together anymore, no organisation or something.

And that fact that the bassist climbed a set at an MTV awards show, which pished Zach off, a lot.

Well after getting some of your "Favourites", I can now (ignorance-free) tell you my opinion (semi-validated).

Firstly, the singers voice...so annoying. A level of pain I haven't discovered...

The lyrics?...

Solo, I'm a soloist on a solo list
All live, never on a floppy disk
Inka, inka, bottle of ink
Paintings of rebellion
Drawn up by the thoughts I think

Genius (!)

And all the songs sound the same.

Crap.

A la Donnington '88. Guns 'N' Roses. Nasty. I think at a Rage concert you'd be more likely to end up with the F.B.I. keeping tabs on you. Coz of course displaying a liking of such a left-wing band is a definite sign of soon-to-come terrorism!!!! Or something like that, its on the end of the Sleep Now In The Fire video....

yeah that scratching certainly is unique. they are one band I'd love to see live, but I suspect you'd get crushed to death at a gig like that.
