So I downl ... procured Ave Maria by Beethoven, one of my favourite classical tracks. I also have the excellent soundtrack to the truman show, which features some more golden tunes.

But I haven't a clue where to look for decent music of this genre. Can anyone recommend any particular compilations available on CD?

I'm looking for specific CD's though. MP3 format just doesn't do classical music justice. any you have that you might recommend?

Rachmaninov (pianist - incredible)
Orff
Holst
Prokofiev
Sibelius
Stravinsky

Mix of dramatic and calm - Naxos is the best thing to look for.
