Words fail me.
From IGNCube:
In a conversation with IGNcube today, Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht said the company would not develop any more titles for Nintendo's GameCube console. The studio is currently creating software for other platforms.
Eggebrecht would not say what titles were in development at Factor 5 nor would he talk specifically about what platform they might appear on. However, at the Game Developers Conference 2004 Eggebrecht was spotlighted as one of the studio heads very keen on Sony PSP development
The Factor 5 president told IGNcube that no software from the San Rafael-based software house would be previewed at the forthcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo 2004, which kicks off this May in Los Angeles
Rogue Leader 3 multiplayer - was amazing. Rogue Leader 2 was the most sold game at the beginning of the Cube's life, and I think was responsible for a lot of sales. Star Wars sells. It's that simple.
Nintendo had a close ally - watch the "Making Of" documentaries - they loved Nintendo, they were the first studio to get dev kits for Gamecube.
And now they're gone. Just as much a loss as Silicon Knights.
I'm not a factor 5 fan, I can see how they're an asset but poor sales of Rebel Strike shows me how Nintendo don't need them... and I certainly don't like them.
So unlike SK, I don't give a ****.
Pilotwings will still hit the N5... the next Star Wars game will be for other formats as Lucas arts no longer supports the Gamecube.
Not bothered...
Am bothered about Silicon Knights.
But at least Silicon Knights are still developing Gamecube games.
Stupid, stupid people.
I want Metroid Prime 2.
Wa-hay.
I might buy a one way ticket to Nintendo HQ, with a samurai sword in hand, just for simple irony.
Still extremely annoying though. I guess we'll have to wait for N5/DS for the next Factor 5 game.
