Words fail me.
From IGNCube:
In a conversation with IGNcube today, Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht said the company would not develop any more titles for Nintendo's GameCube console. The studio is currently creating software for other platforms.
Eggebrecht would not say what titles were in development at Factor 5 nor would he talk specifically about what platform they might appear on. However, at the Game Developers Conference 2004 Eggebrecht was spotlighted as one of the studio heads very keen on Sony PSP development
The Factor 5 president told IGNcube that no software from the San Rafael-based software house would be previewed at the forthcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo 2004, which kicks off this May in Los Angeles

Where was this?
They also said they were working on games for the PSP.

True, but they might just as well have been a second-party developer. Silicon Knights were, yet Factor 5 is remaining more loyal. Sticking with Nintendo but not with Gamecube, and not going multi-format.

They're offering it to the PSP as well? I have seen no indication of that. As for what they can offer.. well what about a shrunken down form of Rogue Leader? That would sell loads! Factor 5 have shown they can squeeze the very best visuals out of a console, and in the DS against PSP, this could prove vital.

What developer can make a picture perfect game? Certainly not Silicon Knights. And you can't just say Pilotwings has potential only because it's based on a previous game by another company. They could bring so much more to it. It's almost like saying Metroid Prime always had potential, just because it was based on a previous game by a different company.

You don't know how many of the 30 will be Factor 5 games :)

A developer for the DS is fine, but with 30 games being showcased at E3 I don't have too much worry for it. Pilotwings will probably be excellent with EAD's help.
Factor 5 for me are more a technology company, who creates Musy X for Nintendo... not a brilliant games developer.
So again, not bothered.
> As it turns out they haven't left Nintendo. Again not that I care.
So you don't care in the slightest that Nintendo still have ties with Factor 5, who will potentially make Pilotwings N5 into an incredible game? You don't care that Factor 5 are staying developing for the DS which you enthuse about so much and that their talent isn't going to other companies (Sony, Microsoft)?
I didn't mind Rogue Squadron when I played it in the shop...
But Rogue Leader 2 bored me as did Rebel Strike (more so the latter)...
As it turns out they haven't left Nintendo. Again not that I care.
It's absolutely awful.

Not too sure... Considering they are cube specialists.
I'm willing to put money on Too Human being for both the PS2 and Gamecube as Silicon Knights has a code for both platforms.
Breaking, from Cubed-3.co.uk:
The San Rafael based developer are moving onto the next generation of console development. "We are extremely excited about both DS and GCNext [N5], so any talk of us abandoning Nintendo platforms altogether is just not true," he told US gaming website GameSpot.
He moves onto point out that they are only leaving GameCube development to concentrate on the next-generation: "It is simply because we have moved into next-generation development." he said.
However he was unclear about what the exact plans for future development would be. All Eggebrecht was willing to say was "there might be a surprise [announcement] coming from us."
Dedicated DS developer? This means Pilotwings N5 is back on the cards :D
