Wycombe Wanderers' relegation from Division Two has been confirmed.
Many did not realise that Tony Adams' side had lost their battle against relegation, as they were still within touching distance of the safety zone.
However, upon closer inspection - if 19th placed Oldham and Brentford in 20th both lost all their games, which would have allowed Wycombe to catch them - then Chesterfield (21st) and Grimsby (22nd) would both get three more points as they play the other two teams in question.
Chesterfield and Grimsby's extra points would put them out of reach of Wycombe, meaning they cannot save themselves.
Wycombe are the second team in England to be relegated, following Wimbledon's drop to Division Two.
That's a huge weight off our shoulders. We can now hopefully continue our recent form without the worry of relegation and survival, and so we might start winning now. April 24th, Brentford/Wycombe at Griffin Park. We can hopefully keep our heads high and with the teams in between Wycombe and Brentford in the table hopefully winning, we could see Brentford into the relegation zone, and hopefully into Division 3 with us.

Usually a good thing to do before replying to a post i've found in my time around here. Engaging your brain as well doesn't hurt either.

Do you have to reply to every damn topic on these bloody forums?
You have nothing good to input...at least I do a serious post every npw and then, one that isn't spam. You just spam, full stop.
