What is the future of Rare. After enjoying their new stunner (Conker's bad fur day) and the release of their final N64 game Banjo Tooie coming out in a couple of hours begs the question what do they have in store for the Gamecube.

I can tell you of a few, a Micky Mouse platformer, After Dark (the sequal to Perfect Dark), Dinosaur Planet and Conker's other bad day. Three familiar faces and one brand new adventures from Rare to come out on Nintendo's next system is a very exciting prospect indeed.

Another rumoured game is one featuring Sabreman. Sabreman is a classic Rare game from the late 80's and in Banjo Tooie he makes a reappearance and after you say goodbye he mutters "I think i'll have a ride on a Dolphin" which could be Rare giving us a big hint of things to come.

So what would you like Rare to do on the Gamecube? Would you like another Banjo game or maybe a 3D Killer Instinct game. Would you like to see another Diddy Kong Racing game or maybe new platformers staring more cast members of Diddy Kong Racing. Maybe the Jet Force team could come back and maybe you would like Donkey Kong to smash the charts again.

So what would you like Rare to do? you tell me.

Here's to the future

But SABRE WULF was a topdown adventure game made for the C=64 age by Ultimate, you had to collect four pieces of this metal thing, for some odd reason. Probably just for fun.

Sabrewolf was the character in Killer Instinct that originated from a comic magzine in America, his story on Killer Instinct was that he had to win the KI touranment to stop the virus that was travelling through his body. That was his prize.

RARE have not confirmed that there will be any Sabrewolf games for the GC but rumours are appearing...

hope that cleared it up

I'm disapointed that no-one has yet pointed out that it's actually Sabre Wulf, not Sabreman...

I agree i loved DK country but you are wrong to say it should be like crash nope it should be like conker. Much more character interaction but without all the fancy features.

If Rare make another Donkey Kong game then they should take out all the punches, coconut shotguns and other fancy features and play the original Crash Bandicoot on the PS.

It's got the A-B structure, simple moves (spin and jump) all the traditional platforming features and it's actually far more faithful to Donkey Kong country than DK64.

Basically, instead of some adventure game, Rare should make DK country in 3D.

You fools.. You are forgetting the one and only Killer Instinct sequel:

'After Instinct'

(maybe I shouldn't have released that name)

but the people in this forum have the right to know

(true, true)

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
