you missed out about all the soul mate stuff, the getting together after a few years, the flirty talk, the inviting round yours when no one is home, him saying he wont stay over a second night because he knows something will happen and this is just a few of the things.

This really isnt my business but then you bring it up so much on here. Okay I'm done talking on the subject :) I would suggest a takeaway. You would have made the dinner yourself but you used up all the food making your ex something.

I'm clear on your intentions, but both blokes probably think they have a chance with you (in the case of your boyfriend, he should know he has a chance with you, otherwise the relationship is a farce).

It's not right to leave it so up in the air like that. you should choose who you love the most, and agree to see the other far less often, so as to make it fair on them both. IMO.

AAArgh ok..

I'm not stringing either along.

Rob knows i'm still mates with Billy and Billy knows i have a boyfriend. Me and Billy are just friends who happen to have had sex and to really like each other but would rather be mates than to lose it by having a relationship.

I'm not sringing Billy along because i gave him a chance to be with me but thats not what he wants.

I feel sorry for both blokes concerned. you're playing games with them, leading them both on and committing to neither.

god listen to me, I sound like a clingy woman(!)

meh, screw them over, enjoy yourself, after all, they're stupid enough to keep seeing you when they should know they've no chance.

theobvious options are:

take away (as you suggested)

or go to the shops lots of things you can get on the cheap:

can't go wrong with spag bol and it only costs a couple of quid.

Sometimes not wanting to be in a relationship isn't enough though FC. If you're in love sometimes you just get drawn into the relationship.

We just put ourselves in the position of your boyfriend, you call him a best mate but best mates dont love each other and talk about such things as "we'll have to save that to show the grandchildren". I dont talk to like that with any girl friends I have.

If I was your boyfriend I really wouldnt want to be involved in such a relationship too much lying, too many secrets, too much hassle.

you've explained enough for me to understand why your boyfriend is paranoid about you hanging around your ex. anyone with half a brain would be. so you're doing your 'it's not my fault if two blokes fancy me and to hell with what it does to them' routine on them.
