I loved Call of Duty; I think it fair to say it was one of the best FPS of last year, and certainly the best historical shooter, ever. I loved every minute of it, apart from its length, too damn short.

But, being a PC game and coming with all the hallmarks of becoming a successful franchise, Call of Duty is getting an expansion pack called United Offensive. It’ll have 10 new maps, which take part in some of the most intense battles of the Second World War such as the Battle of the Bulge.

So it’s an expansion, and it was expansions that pretty much ruined Medal of Honour: Allied Assault, the difference here is that it’s not being developed by money hungry EA, so should hopefully avoid suffering the same fate as MOH: Spearhead and Breakthrough, and even though it is just an expansion and not a full blown sequel, I can't help but get excited about it's release.

If EA keep their idiot hands off, this will rule.
Call of Duty still stands as my favourite FPS shooter bar none. I just hope it doesn't suffer the curse of the MOH expansions...same game, same graphics, different scenery etc.

EA suck.

Yep, not played COD myself for a while, but I have completed it twice already. Just so long as this expansion provides the same explosive, cinematic missions as the Pegasus Bridge and Stalingrad levels of the orignal game, I'll be happy, though I'd be even happier if I knew a sequel was on it's way.

Yeah, it looks pretty sweet... though... I haven't played CoD in about three months now.

It looks very good :D Tbh, I've been busy with my CS clan so I haven't played CoD online in ages...still, the battles they mention are sure to be great.
