It's right in certain circumstances and wrong in others. We all have different opinions on what those circumstances are though so it's pointless to debate them as we shall never agree.

because everyone is to cowardly to introduce it as it is a contraversial issue that some people feel very strongly about. And because until recently we were a fully christian country which forbids it.

its not as if it could really be abused. As long as it was pproperly regulated:

Euthanasia could be reglated fairly easily. It should be only allowed at properly approved clinics which should all be nhs run, to disallow private "cowboys".

The person should have to have given there full consent to this happening, signed for or show videod expressed consent where physical capability is lost. If they are Unconcious then it shouldn't be legal unless the aforementioned steps have been taken.

You would get the odd case of coercion, but then again pillow smotheriing in their sleep happens now too.

If you want to die then you do it yourself, it is incredibly selfish to ask someone else to do it.

Suicide - acceptable
Euthanasia - wrong
Abortion - pro choice

I'm sure there is a contradiction but in these questions you have to say what you feel.

I think its illegal because the government sees it as murder. Some Church denominations don't aren't completely against it. I think its Holland which is the only country which allows euthanasia. It might be Belgium though. Not sure one of those countries.

Very strong arguement for the use of it so far.So why is it not legal in this country then?.There must be someone that disagrees with you lot and they must have a bloody good reason.

Its wrong anyway I mean helping people to die when they are suffering. I suppose its the most loving thing to do.

Even in the worst cases I would feel bad about being the one pulling the plug.

However There are some cases in which there is no other way of helping. And although I would feel bad about being the one helping, I would know deep down I was doing the right thing.

euthanasia is assisted suicide so it is consented.

If it isn't consented it is murder.

If i had consent i'd pull every plug required, or dole out every injection. with out any guilty feeling, in the knowledge that that is what they wanted.
