Why do we turn to being dark when we grow up, is it a natural process, does everyone have it?
After some thinking i decided that it came down to being protected, if you can't be seen you cant be hurt and yet i feel there is more to it.
Society says that we should be afraid of darkness as it is associated with all thing's bad, but we have such a negative media we are constantly told those in the shadows profit and get away with murder, isnt is confusing to say not playing by the rules is bad and yet we focus on that aspect and largely ignore the good people.
Is being dark a survival tactic or a way to get ahead? when does it change from one to the other?
Is being good showing weakness ? or is it the other way round ? who are the weak people? those who cheat to get ahead or those that stay honest and get left behind?
What is more important being good or being successful.
What is the point of law's when good people lose out because of it?
Survival of the fittest or survival of the honest?
Has morality f***ed us over ?
(Edit)
What i meant was when it affect the people you care about, although it could apply to both sides.
I went down this road of thought before christmas and i pulled back from it because it was only me who was being held back by my morality, when it starts to affect the people i care about, it may well be another matter.

Religion has structured our morals even if we have never believed in it, the way we to behave and think has been passed down through our parents and i am trying to get away from that and think for myself, i think we would all be better off for it.
I have moved away from outside influence as much as possible but it has caused me a lot of problems in doing so.
When you question everything, you are certain to realise that you arent always going to like the answers you get.
I do believe that I got the bad end of the deal. Hopefully something or someone will happen that will change my mind, but right now I can't see that I'm better off for it.
Do you think it is acceptable that those that don't play by the rules get ahead?
The last question was...
Has morality fu**ed us over?
It's has come from religion telling people how to live, that is the problem, what happened to survival of the fittest?

Which is why i never played pool, ive always been a snooker player, pool is too short, but i stopped playing snooker 3 years ago and when i got round to playing poll last year i picked it up very quickly, i was never a failed snooker player, i stopped when my club closed down and i had no-one to play against.
Of course, pool and snooker are two very different games. Especially in tactical battles at a high level.
Then agian, maybe you're unlikely to find that in your average pub, even if they are offering some cash.
And as much as it pains me to admit it, most pool players seem to be failed snooker players :^S

No the decent people generally can be found in snooker clubs at night, i used to go into them and practice on my own next to kids my own age knowing that if i potted a few decent balls it would get there attention and once they had noticed me i deliberately miss a easy shot, ususally they would offer me a game afterwards and money would be bet, usually a fiver, then i would start playing properly, or enough to beat them, no-one likes to feel they have been conned and it meant i avoided trouble and a reputation as a hustler.
