(Not directed at forest fan specifically, but I've been thinking about religion a lot recently due to the trolls influence on these forums, apologies in advance for creating another thread of garbage, but hey, the idea below tickled me and kept me amused for a few minutes.)

Ok, “god” created man in his own image, and is commonly assumed to be male. If that is so, answer me these following questions.

Is there a female “god” knocking around somewhere? Did he create a female “god” counterpart? Canhe create a female “god” counterpart? Is this against the rules as there can only be one true “god” according to the Christian faith?

If there is only one “god” and he’s male and equipped with a fully functional set of genitals (ohhh, naughty, talking about “gods” uglies) and therefore, by proxy, a sex drive, I can fully understand why he / it allows so much pain and suffering in the word.

He / it could get a bit tetchy after “self loving” for a couple of thousand millennia………………………

...Which meant we were no longer 100% pure..

Anyway, because we can chooooooose what we want to do we do not have some ultimate ruler sending a gigantic hairy hand to stop terrorists, sex and the rest of it....

So we have free will. Meaning we can choose to follow god or not. Denying him often ends in pain... We will choose our own roads.. land crapppy jobs, divorce the wrong woman... decide to follow terrorist leaders and run into banks cladded with explosives..

That explains *some* of it. Alot I do not understand. But of course not all of it is about us and god... the snake at the beginning still exists andtempts us. The devil is a rat b***ard so not nice things go on when he is involved...

God created the heavens and the earth.

He gave us a perfect world, a lovely world - he gave adam a foxy mate. But because God loves us he did not want to simply 'rule us' or for us to be robots... so he gave us free will...


Which is where abouts we screwed up big style.

The devil in the form of a snake tempted eve to pick fruit form teh forbidden tree. The one thing God said 'look love dont do...'

So she did (or she persuaded adam to do it as women do I cannot remember)

Which meant the devil got his own way... and humans turned their back on god to listen to a snake *uh nice one* so sin entered...

Two people sinned therefore we sin?

Right...as we're all alike in this world.

The only reason I think God is seen as being male is because he was created in a time where males dominated the world in almost every respect.

"Eve sinned first but Adam also did, hence all mankind sinned."

I find that quite amusing. Theres no point for us to being nice. We all are unclean to our first ancestors sins. I'm sure god can forgive and forget. I wonder if he's doing it right now?
