Disclaimer.

(Not directed at forest fan specifically, but I've been thinking about religion a lot recently due to the trolls influence on these forums, apologies in advance for creating another thread of garbage, but hey, the idea below tickled me and kept me amused for a few minutes.)

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Ok, “god” created man in his own image, and is commonly assumed to be male. If that is so, answer me these following questions.

Is there a female “god” knocking around somewhere? Did he create a female “god” counterpart? Canhe create a female “god” counterpart? Is this against the rules as there can only be one true “god” according to the Christian faith?

If there is only one “god” and he’s male and equipped with a fully functional set of genitals (ohhh, naughty, talking about “gods” uglies) and therefore, by proxy, a sex drive, I can fully understand why he / it allows so much pain and suffering in the word.

He / it could get a bit tetchy after “self loving” for a couple of thousand millennia………………………

Would that mean God would have to take something away from Adam and Eve... Not tell them something therefore keeping the thruth from them and blind them of something that is?

The problem is, if this tree of knowledge was forbidden - why didn't God just keep it out of reach of Adam and Eve.

After all, if God hadn't put the idea of sin into their minds, sin wouldn't have happened as the two would have been to naive to know about it - being the first people.

Yea... even before I was christian I found it hard to believe I was from a big hairy ape and that a cow could be a dolphin and that we share 50% genetic make up to a banana....

but there we jolly well go.

Your point is true though memorandom again I will state I am not sur, though God is a loving God he doesnt try to trick people or do them in... Maybe the fruit was created via the devil.. I cannot remember

But why would he make a perfect world for people and leave one thing on it that they weren't allowed? Surely that's deliberately tempting them to do bad.

If I set something down in front of you and said "don't touch that" you're going to be much more curious about it than if I said nothing.

That's my main problem with the whole 'everyone is a sinner' thing. Plus the fact that it's incredibly hard to believe the Adam & Eve story is real.

.....he he he he he

sorry.

na, I do like to say my own beliefs... but God gave you free will. All I can do is say how the holy spirit came into my life and changed it for the best. That it will be absolutely rock'n to dance with the ole Jesú in heaven '*get down tonight *doo doo*' and that the outlook aint too bright for nom believers...

I cannot force you to believe anything not even God can do that!
So ask me qu's dance or sing for me... write I dont care!

*dances to get down tonight*

Lil Ginge has restored some belief in me that not all Christians are annoying people.

[/I]Note: She has an advantage in that a) She is a redhead girl...not sure why, but there's something about that I like about girls....and b) she's a girl[/I]

Note to Forest Fan: I totally respect Lil Ginge's views. Why? Because she isn't trying to preach, just providing me with her own beliefs. If she did start telling me I am wrong to have my own beliefs, I would think of her like I do you.
