I was persuaded into getting this messenger thing recently, and......well, it's not up to much, is it? It's nice and pretty, but you can't even use italics in the way they're supposed to be used. And the emoticons suck.

And none of my contacts are online.

hmmm, you make a compelling point! :)

MSN would be more worthwhile as a garnish.

i wouldn't even classify if as a "lark", it's more of a "caper" i thought...

Font? Just change it to italics. Can't use it for one word though. Annoying as hell.

I don't mean the specific pictures, I have my own one alright. I meant that for some reason it displays their picture larger than yours, even though there is precisely the same amount of room, and that it's too small to get any good quality image on there.

I didn't say it was useless, it's just annoying that you either type your whole message in italics or nothing at all. And the display pictures could be improved, and don't even get me started on display names.....
