"Religious Discussion Forum?"

I'm sure a lot of people, like me, have got fed up with the high-jacking of the 'Intelligent Discussion' forum by religious crackpots and fundamentalists.

This forum should have been the place to discuss religion, unfortunately certain fundamentalist posters have completely bypassed intelligent discussion and gone straight to blinkered preaching, denial and avoidance.

So... should I start a religious discussion forum to let the Life forum get back to normal, or shall we just wait it out til the current spate of bickering dies down?

Opinions please.

Unfortunately, that's religion in a nutshell!

For me it's just thwe fact that things I write and topics I make in here are pushed right down to the bottom because of FF and his preachings.

I dont mind the religion topics here so much, its when he brings it into other topics where it doesnt belong that annoys me.

If it was coupled with some sort of "All preaching takes place in this forum; any attempt to be a blinkered and totalitarian minded bottle of 12 year old asswater in other forums may result in being warned" sort of thing. You could call it the Forest Rule.

It's just his pure lack of listening. He is sure that his ideas are right, and therefore will not listen to anyone else point of view at all. His ideas are right, ours are wrong. Simple as for him.

Some of the replies FF has given to non-religious posts lately lead me to believe that he is a regular/notable having a laugh.

If this turns out to be true, I think SR should supply us with this user's address so we can form a possé and go and crucify him/her. That would be super-irony!

Actually, Ros is right. If God created everything, then FF has the right to go into any thread in the World and muck it up with his religious babblings. I think it would be better to ban him than let him preach his ill-informed, racist, bigoted nonsense any longer. And it's not a religious thing, I find him him genuinely insulting and ridiculous towards me.

I was thinking more of the "Gay marriage and parenthood (I don't think so) " thread. Dated before the thread your talking about.
