"Dawn of the Dead"

Just seen it, and it was superb. I'm just going to urge you to go see it. For fat zombies and zombie heads and zombie babies and zombie Jay Lenos.

I thought it was great - very memorable.
It wasn't so much scary as shocking, but that's not the right word either. The zombies were awesome especially the husband at the beginning.

I watched Night Of The Living Dead last night (the original), and the explanation about the zombies, plus the actual zombies themeselves, were pretty laughable. I haven't seen the original Dawn Of The Dead, but I imagine that this remake has stolen some of the characters and set ups from 'Night...'.

And Shaun of the Dead looks great I'm definitel going to see that.

it was pretty good as a zombie flick. wasn't particularly scary...if they had modified it, it could have been brilliant but there are quite a few flaws.
the ending was good though...good way to make people stay to watch at least half the credits

I liked the end clips in the credits - hahaha they ALL DIED! except the stupid gay dog.

Shaun of the Dead does look better...

But I'm still happily imagening that chainsaw scene in the truck...

BRAIIIIIINAS!

I went to see it last night with my girlfriend, I thought it was pretty funny whilst she squeeled everytime a zombie's head exploded. Wuss.

The start was the best bit - very impressive effects. The storyline could have been a bit more solid - they seemed in a bit rush to get to the mall without much build up - but we all know it was just an excuse for gratutious violence and gore - so we don't mind.

The dog was a bloody stupid addition to the film and made it more like a friggin disney film, "Aww the dog, hope its ok" - pfft, stupid collie - I wanted it to get bitten.

Andy was the best character ever - "Oh no, not Andy" - most of the characters we're pretty distant though and I didnt feel you got to know them enough to care whether they lived or became a twitcher. The Mr T look-a-like was probably the only one that had some kind of depth to him, and the sarcastic guy who was like the doctor out of scrubs was hilarious.

I enjoyed it muchly - but Shaun of the Dead looks better :-)

Dawn of the dead = awesome. I was gonna write a piece on how cool it was but it took my 2 minutes to write the words 'Dawn of the dead' so I won't bother.
