Just seen it, and it was superb. I'm just going to urge you to go see it. For fat zombies and zombie heads and zombie babies and zombie Jay Lenos.

I've seen (most of...) the origianl twice now... Both times missed the very beginning though...
But anyhoo, I think its a class film... It's one of the few where the humans actually take advantage of the fact that zombies walk very slowly and are pretty stupid... The bikers just come into the mall with knives, sledge-hammers, chains, and kick the crap outta half the zombies, and the main characters just run past loads of them as well. Whenever I see a zombie film I wonder why people don't just pucch the zombies over or run past them, and in Dawn of the Dead they do.
May go see the remake. Possibly. Or just catch it on DVD when it's out...

I watched the original till half twelve, i needed sleep, but i got so into it. The special effects were pants, make up was crap, it had so many mistakes in (i counted lke 5 in three seconds) but it was such a great film.

Just watched the original. god i feel sick now. I was gonna go and eat a little snack...
seen it befor, it is a quality film, will be watching it again, its not just the slapstick or zombie schenes that make it good. Its the whole scenario created and the way the film plots out and is structured, i love the sense at the beggining of happyness and the greatest joy, then all turns bad, typical of films of this time period which we dont see as much ne more, great stuff.
Fair enough.
