RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR DDDD D D D D
(That was my chainsaw sound)

Anyways.
Has anyone seen both versions?

Obviously the original is the better of the two, but what I want to know is if the re-make is worth buying on DVD?
I'll probably get it anyway, just y'know to feed the addiction.

So,
Is it any good?
Does it matter if I haven't seen the original?
Did you like my chainsaw sound?
Is it just Scream 19 only with chainsaws?
Should I buy the original too and make myself watch it and have nightmares for until I'm 30?

The Ed Gein documentary was nice though.

..made a belt out of human nipples...

Oh and *that* sound effect is soooo annoying. The one they use in the special features non-stop. The creak thing noise.

Texas chainsaw massacre is in the worst 5 movies ive ever seen and i have seen 10 minutes of Crossroads! (now thats endurance!!!!)

Itdoesn't have any shocking scary moments just some big twwat who does nothing but run around at about 2 miles an hour whilst a woman makes minimal effort to escape him.

It is awful, a bit twisted, but awful. don't know why it was banned as it wasn't scary, i can only assume it was for fear of nutters replicating.

utter balls

My brother told my Mum to get the new Chainsaw Massacre DVD at the supermarket today, but she got confused and got the original. So we kept it (it was only about £7 anyway)

Still, I think he's getting the remake for Easter anyway...

Yeah they did. Yet another reason Allsports blows donkeys.

Got it on DVD and watched it last night.
Scream 19 with chainsaws if you ask me. Hopefully the documentaries about Ed Gein make it worth buying.

Didn't Allsports use that slogan for one of their sales, around about the time the remake was released?

Meh, Haven't seen the first one in full, so I'll watch that before I check this remake out.

Sounds goood...

I thought it was with the accent but I saw an editorial with "cliqued" in it so assumed I was wrong.

Spell check doesnt pick up on cliqued so I take it that it means something else

It was on late one night when me and girlie went to stay in an isolated log cabin in Scotland. That was spooky!
