I didn't know the games are being stopped, but if they are it's most probably because of the technology within the game that controls the rumbling.

All PS2s are sold with dual shock controllers so they'll have to stop selling the consoles for the time being as there aren't any controllers to go with it!

For the reasons set forth in its January 10, 2005 Order, and having entered judgment in favor of Plaintiff Immersion Corp. (Immersion), the Court hereby PERMANENTLY ENJOINS Defendants Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc., (SCEA) and Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc., (SCEI) (collectively Sony) from manufacturing, using, and/or selling in, or importing into, the United States the infringing Sony Playstation system, including its Playstation consoles, Dualshock controllers, and those games found by the jury to infringe.
Including its Playstation consoles
What the hell?
No more PS2s either?
And what the hell do any of those games have to do with the controller?
