There is one prize to be decided at the end of April for the best set of suggestions.
GAMES DON'T COUNT. We aren't looking for a list of games which we don't sell. It's the other stuff we are interested in.
In particular we are looking for PC Software. Not the very expensive stuff. Also PC bits or peripherals.
You can suggest new product ranges which could be of interest to our existing audience: for example our next catalogue includes a Metal Detector.
Make suggestions for our shops, or for items to sell on the internet. Our aim for the shops is "Brimming with Stock and Bristling with Offers". On the internet it's a question of what people will be searching for.
If YOU are thinking of buying something soon, and we don't sell it, then please enter that too.
Errgh.
Hey, who wouldn't want the whole set of figures of us !?
;-p
Banana's
Playing cards
Magic 8 balls
Guitars
Orange's
oops sorry thats my shopping list!
If you have the contacts, maybe you could stock merchandise thats related to games titles like posters, etc.
Laptop computer and laptop accessories would be a great seller for SR (I think that SR did sell laptops in the past but not anymore)
What about the new portable dvd players, they are coming down in price and would be a hit for all those Dvd fanatics.
I believe I saw a few months ago SR selling a Dvd-copy drive (but I am not 100% sure of this), would you perhaps bring this back as I don't think Dvd's were as universally known as they are now. (the prices of these drives are coming down, although SR might hold off for about 6months before they are a less than £500).
A bigger and better range of PC speakers MUST be a priority for SR as more and more people are watching Dvd's on their PC's. The sound from a Dvd movie is amazing but if you don't have the right speakers then the Dvd experience isn't as enjoyable.
'Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days.'
I am sure that that would be a surefire hit as most people here want to be a computer programmer.
People could bring their PC into one of your store, and, say, buy some memory, then pay a little extra for someone to install it for them... or if the machine is damaged, it off to be repaired...
I seem to remember quite a few of the smaller shops, and PC World used to do this a few years ago... although I havnt seen the service around for a while, and I know for certain that there a LOT of un-computer-savvy peoples out there :)
