Wasn't he great in... no wait, that was Bruse Willis... he was good in.. hmm... Danny Glover was good in the Lethal Weapons, does that count?...
Well he was in.. no, that sucked too.
Nevertheless, Christian America's second favourite pin-up is bringing his new gig to the UK.
What I want to know is this:
Will you go to see The Passion of the Christ ?
Personally, I'm in 2.. no, 3 minds about it:
- I'd quite like to go judge for myself whether it really is anti-semitic, and by the sounds of things it's probably a fairly good gore fest.
- But I'm tempted to avoid it as I don't want to support the success of Gibson's venture or expose myself to a couple of hours of Christianity.
- I'm also tempted to avoid it as, for us non-believers, it'd probably be little more than a boring gore fest and I really can't be bothered with that.
Without turning the thread into a soapbox for preaching your (supposed) religious beliefs (you know who you are, get your own forum ;^p ), what are your views?
Lets keep it to the film please people!
If this is what religion does to people, I'm glad I don't care about it.
> Many people have been decieved by this occult film.
Oh god, you really are just THAT stupid aren't you?
I give, I'm fed up wasting my time on you. It's not my job to try and smash some sense into your stupiud skull and it's obvious that your parents didn't do a very good job.
Go play in the traffic or something.
> Everyone else died because they sinned, they were murderers or theives
> or the like. Jesus was PERFECT and never sinned, He died on the cross
> for sin, this is why His sacrifice is so important and loving.
Just bum him and get it over and done with.
You're gonna trust the word of one religious zealot, over the word 1000's of high up religious leaders who have praised the film?
Anyway, I'm off to see it this afternoon so I'll judge for myself.
> So you can see the stupidity in the film, Tiltawhirl?
No, I can see the stupidity and ignorance of your replies.
