Just to let those of you who care know, I have decided not to go ahead with the operation tomorrow for various reasons. It's been a hard decision to come to, but its the one that feels most right for me. Thanks for all your support through this, it really is appreciated. You've been true internet buddies! :)

If one day, you do change your mind and want the operation, is the chance still there to have it?

I've decided not to have it done at all, and yes I have my reasons.

Hmmm, you must have some strong reasons to decide against the surgery (No pressure or whatever)

I presume you're just going to keep an eye on it and only have the surgery done if necessary?

It's the worst decision ive ever had to make. no one around me understands my choice.

Googled it. After quickly scanning things seems to be a hell of a decision whether or not to have an op done.

Worst case scenario is it could cause complications that could be life-threatening.

Can i ask what long term effects this acoustic neuroma will cause?
