Yes another WoW post, I will save you the need to urge your peni towards the keyboard in a desperate attempt to point this out...

Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).

Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.

Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.

Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).

Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*

Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!

If your looking for another class that can use pets, try a Warlock. They can summon all kinds of demonic beast as their companions, and they don't need feeding and they come with a whole host of powerful attacks that you can learn.

The only downside (aart from, the fact that warlocks suck in close range combat and can only use Cloth armour) is you have to constantly create Soulshards to summon some of the later beasts, and seeing as these soulshards don't stack up in your inventory, they take up a hell of allot of space.

Yeah I'm the same with the boredeom factor. I started with a warrior which I grew tired of really quickly, then switched to the Hunter which was waaaaaay better but I would like to do a few things differently this time so I'm going to give Rogue a shot.

I don't have the time to keep even 1 going - My highest level is 22, I just started creating extra characters to give me a bit of variety so I don't get bored with just the one guy.

I have all classes apart from Warrior and Priest and I find it more enjoyable playing a different character every time.

It does get confusing though, sometimes.

But still, I prefer to play it like that.

Cheers for the info.

Don't think I could handle more than 1 in terms of how much time I have etc. Maybe once I hit level 30 with a character I may look to get another character. I find it hard trying to play it with one character withouy being really addicited to it. Will scrap the Hunter tonight and go with a Rogue.

I currently have 10 characters over three different servers.

Only 3 have been getting proper attention though.

They start with a dagger and Thrown (basic ranged). You can train them to use virtually any weapon.

Think I will scrap the Hunter and go with the Rogue then. By default do they have a long ranged weapon or do you have to train them for this?

Pets for Hunters only, although Druids can turn into their own animals and Warlocks can summon minions - which are pretty much pets, only that you don't need to feed/catch them.

Sweet, may make the change although I am seeing a Swat 4 night ahead.

No pets for Rogues I take it?

Rogues can stealth (go invisible), pickpocket and are the fastest attackers in the game, providing you have enough energy (replaces mana).

My favourite class in the game, alongside Druid and Warlock.
