Yes another WoW post, I will save you the need to urge your peni towards the keyboard in a desperate attempt to point this out...

Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).

Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.

Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.

Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).

Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*

Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!

I had great fun last night when I conducted my own personal, hugely inneffective raid on horde territory. I was just hanging about in the Alterac mountains and decided to go exploring. Ended up in the Undercity, waving at noobs and making chicken noises while stealthed. Then a big guard saw me and I ran away and hid in the courtyard while a bunch of high level players sniffed around. Then I comandeered a zeppelin and ended up outside Ogrimmar, where the zeppelin guards killed me. Got my body back, snuck up to the gates and killed an NPC, then got chased away by the guards. Headed back to the zeppelin and did 'Sunjata says Where is tourist information please?' at passing baby horde, but they were all too confused by my invisibility to respond. Then I found a little swine farm, full of baby swine. I killed them all. Die, swine, die! Then I decided to go home, so I trekked West through the Barrens, which I've never been to before but was full of zebras. Found an orc killing goblins so I helped him kill a few, then stole his hard-earned chest - FOR THE ALLIANCE! Finally made it back to the Stonetalon Mountains and went to sleep.

Although there is a minimum requirement for eahc level, there will actually only be a small fraction because only something like the top 0.5% will be given the highest ranks.

So because there are only ever 50 people at the top rank, you have to be higher than them to replace them. The lower ranks have a larger amount of people in, apparently for someone who plays often reaching rank 6 (of 15) shouldn't be too hard, but it's all up hill from there.

Sexy.

Can't wait for it to come back into stock... Only a couple more days. Should get my "pre" ordering hat on then. Come on fido, let's go get us a ludicrously expensive game...

A rewards system. Basically you'll be awarded points for honourable PvP kills (players who are the same level or are just above/below) get enough points and you'll be able to cahs them in to access high end armour, weapons and even mounts.

It'll take a hell of allot of points to get the best equipment though, Blizzard re only expecting a small fraction of player to actually gain access to the best stuff.

[EDIT] Ah, forget these ramblings, perhaps I was being a bit too much of a whiney gimboid, that what staying up til 2 in the morning does to you though, makes me a bit crabby.

As soon as the honour system gets up, expect less complaining, and more killing. The rewards the system provides don't come cheap.

When I get this one of my characters will be a pacifist towards all other players unless they start dancing which will throw him into a homicidal rage.

Haha, I was just running merrily on my way through some trees the other day, when about 7 lvl ?? Horde all came out or unstealed at the same time. I saw some of them running towards me, so I decided the best thing to do would be to dance. And dance I did. And they killed me anyway :' [

So go to a PvE realm. It's a game. The alliance and horde are supposed to be at war (or uneasy peace at least.)

I was attacked numerous times a couple of days back. *Shrug* I expect it. When I get to a high lvl I'm making a point of slaughtering every enemy I come across. I ain't going to camp by their corpse, so what's the damage? A five minute treck back to their body.
