Yes another WoW post, I will save you the need to urge your peni towards the keyboard in a desperate attempt to point this out...

Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).

Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.

Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.

Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).

Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*

Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!

I was on a bit yesterday with my pet spider, should be on at some point today, when the servers are back up.

Were you on between 14:00 and 18:00 yesterday? I think I say a Creasy running around. I was called Darkwalker.

To leave your current guild, type '/gquit'. I'm sure one of the pther guys will invite you to SR, if not, I'll do it when I get online.

I've been slowly getting into this game having ditched City of Heroes a few weeks back (CoH is amazingly simple compared to WoW). So far so good, I'm called Creasy, a Night Elf Hunter around level 12 on Dragonmaw, and wouldn't mind joining the Special Reserve guild (I joined a different guild yesterday just to be polite whilst playing with some other guys, but I assume I can quite that one and join a different one).

I'm just reaching the end of the NE starting island and so will soon be ready to explore the wider world.

I was shocked at the price of copper bars. It only takes 10 mins to collect 20 copper ore and 5 mins to smelt.

It's like earning 75s every 15 mins.

Same with cooking/higher level leatherworking then.

Will start them tonight but might leave them until I get to Darkshore. Still got First Aid/Cooking/Fishing to get up to a reasonable level.

Mining allows you to get your own items required to make Blacksmithing goods, rather than having to buy them all.

There's still things you need to buy from trade vendors though, but the basic ingredients are gained from Mining.
