Yup, twas the most violent Thursday night shift I’ve been on.

The first was the usual crappy fight about nothing.

The second was really kicking off and I was first to get there along with another officer of less experience then me.

The third was an assistance call from an officer. We had to leg strap the guy to get him in the van.

What have you all been up to of late?

One more shift for me, then I'm on a course for 2 weeks, which means shorter days. Woot.

Okay, that's enough plugging it.

There's something quite sexy about a man fighting, well not fighting but acting all responsible and being in a sensible fight, Also something sexy about a bloke who fights for his friends!

hmmm.....

This guy stole my T.V. so I chased him out into the street, caught him and tried to restrain him. When the cops turned up though they strapped my legs together, chucked me in the van and gave him a ride home asking him if he was ok. Pfft, somepeople.

Yeah, but people tend to act a little differently towards police in fights. All I had to do was grab hold of one of them that was kneeing the other bloke, pull him away, then use open hand palm force, (pushing and holding), to keep him away whilst using lots of verbal communication.

CCTV caught the whole thing. Twas good to watch it back given that it's hard to remember just what has happened. It’s also good to see that we are using appropriate force. I was good. Very authoritative.
