Suprised no one's made a topic on this already, but tis out today. I haven't got it yet - in the last month I've bought Wario, Resi and Splitters and they've kinda left me low on cash.
Those who got it today/have already imported (Psycho Fox, WS etc.), is it worth my money? I'm an RPG fan as ye may know, but an RPG fan slightly put off by all this card fighting business. So.. verdicts anyone?

I haven't bothered trying to make any SP combos, but I have actually got 3 already done, to my surprise. Don't worry about doing them unless you are a completist. Hey I finished the game ithout listening to 8 sound tracks, but I don't care, they are 51-58 if you wanted to know.
Just smacked a card up to some absolutely smashing boss music. I'm now in hte picturebook village which is where I decided to save and quit. Does anyone know where I can find a pine tree from there though? I just manage to get the sculpting knife and my pine trees have turned to sap. ALso I still havn't pulled of one SP Combo which is why im trying to grab another pine tree.

it is, and if you like long lasting Role playing games then Baten Kaitos is the thing for you, or the fact that it has an awesome soundtrack :=D

Well I do get the occasional blank turns, but only once or twice in a boss battle shared between all 3 characters. Either you haven't got the right ratio of weapons to armour and healing items, or you just don't have enough patience. Usually when I can't attack I almost always have healing items that have built up in my deck during the turns I am using weapons or armour cards, so I can use them on that free turn to prevent any serious problems. But rarely do i have a tur I can't do anything at all.

This battle system is so retarded at times mostly during boss battles you don't get the bloody cards you need at certain time then you have to sit through 2 turns of attack from them with 8 cards which is dull and boring.
The battle system overall is alright and fun but its flawed and annoying at times :|

hmm typing angel of darkness reminded me of that sidequest boss in SoA. anyone remember her? u could keep going back and fighting her. wicked =D
