Well was "Bowling for Columbine" solely about Columbine or about bowling?

I doubt it...

First line I read: "Contrary to its title, Michael Moore Hates America isn't a hatchet job on the filmmaker."

No? So why call it that then?

Not interested, thanks. Mr Duck got it right earlier when he spoke of people using phoney nationalism to try and turn people against him, and I don't need to watch this to know that. Sure, Moore's probably guilty of distorting a few facts here and there, but then so is the US government, and their agenda is a wee bit more serious than his.

Can't say I've looked at the site yet, but to be fair, if there's any proof of Moore lying in his work (in his books at least...) it could probably be easily documented, as Moore generally states all his information sources. If he's misquoted facts/figures/statements I'd think this could be pretty easily proven. Okay, from reading 'Stupid White Men' and 'Dude, Wheres my Country?' it seems some of the figures and stuff are quoted in such a way as to make things seem better/worse to suit the purpose better (putting spin on stuff really), but it's not like politicians (who evidently have more direct power than a writer...) don't put spin on pretty much everything that comes out of their mouthes.

So unless the site has any proof there it's probably someone who just doesn't like Mr. Moore trying to badmouth him...

But if you read the website you see it is not about attacking Moore in itself, more Moore's vision of the nation and those in it, as well as challenging Moore's work....if the guy making this is right, and Moore has lied in his work, then why lie to paint a worse picture of a nation you do not hate?

Yup, spot on. The impression I've got is that he loves America and is angry at seeing it ruined for the benefit of about 30 or 40 people.
