My friend has just started going out with this girl who don't believe in sex before marriage and doesn't drink.

Knowing my friend the no sex rule is going to be hard and I didn't think that the fact that she don't drink would stop him from drinking.

I've just found out that he won't drink in front of her, because she don't drink and so he won't drink.

I was just wondering if you guys would quit drinking just because your new girlfriend doesn't drink. Who thinks this bloke, my friend, is a little sad for doing this and who think's he's being respectful?

I find it anti social to drink large amounts ... for no reason what so ever every friday night or so.

despite being someone who doesnt drink i don't have a problem with other people drinking around me, what i do have a problem with is when i am accused of being anti-social for not drinking.
i think youve got to make up your own mind and do what suits you, but remember that other people will do the same.

I wouldn't STOP drinking, as in entirely - I'd still drink with my mates, but I wouldn't drink around her if it bothered her.

Well I don't drink anyway so it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Funnily enough, I know a girl who has stopped drinking and doesn't believe in sex before marriage. She's just starting seeing a guy, too.

Chances are you're miles away from where I live though, so it must be a coincidence...
