yawn. i have eventually finished 25 laps of the nurburgring on gt4 and found it so long and tiring. i know that there is a 24 hour endurance on the nurburgring and a 8 hour one i think but if i found 25 laps of the nurburgring long and boring, how am i meant to managed 24 hours of it? does anybody have views on why the gt4 endurance races are so long and felt like i did?

Yeah but Endurance suggests the option shouldn't even be there. Endurance suggests you have to work for it, y'know?

Then die-hard racing fans will be able to go through the whole thing without saving. Nobody has said anything about saving being mandatory.

It's hardly endurance if you can save game though...

Though it's hardly endurance if you make the computer do it for you.

A save feature would definitely be very useful, but I'm not hugely bothered about it's absence. It's not really a big deal to let the B-spec driver do a few laps while I take a break.

Indeed, it was a very big oversight not to have a save game feature.

That's the one thing about GT4 that I don't like. In my eyes, I play GT4 to drive the cars. Why would I even want to let the computer drive for me on B-Spec?

The general consensus seems to suggest that you can't save the game so you'd have to complete the whole endurance race in one sitting. I want to feel like I've achieved something, not waiting X number of hours while the computer does it for me.

A small gripe I have with GT4.
