£600 for a ONE TRACK CD, flippin 'eck!
Opinions are the way.
But they were the figureheads, and as such they did revolutionise rock, launch of grunge and the teen stuff. Other bands from Seattle like Mudhoney, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden also expanded upon all this (and were better), but one cannot say Nirvana did not revolutionise rock to an extent, and Nirvana while not to everyones' taste, certainly are not a bad band. Better than bands like Linkin Park anyday.

You've gotta give Nirvana fans one thing - they've certainly got a great sense of humour!
"Nirvana are good"
"Nirvana revolutionised rock"
"Kurt Cobain was a great songwriter, as well as a gifted and creative guitarist"
Classic! ;D

There was the small matter of that Cobain was a teen idol, and then this was exploded more so after his death.
The Feeder drummer committed suicide as well, I think. But Cobain and Nirvana were the icons of the time.

Amongst others, heh.
Grohl = skill
