HAH! Oh Blank, you make me chuckle.

Dredg for one! MOO! Audioslave, At The Drive In, Pixies, Rival Schools, Elliott, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Foos, Chillis, Sunny Day Real Estate, Rage Against The Machine, Quicksand, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Weezer, Everlclear, Offspring and Pennywise (to an extent), Muse, Coldplay, Radiohead, Bush, Sparta, Mars Volta, Zwan, Chavez, Jeff Buckley, Cursive, Metallica, Doves, Strokes, Hives, Beastie Boys, Glassjaw, Mineral, Taproot, R.E.M, A.F.I................
I could go on, but those are the ones I always type out, mostly. Some cross into late 1980s, others don't.
Hmmm Ho! I didn't actually say it was a good or a bad thing as such, but they did have a major impact.
As for good music since 1991/2, regardless of Nirvana and their impact, there is tonnes.

They may have revolutionised rock, but that's not always a good thing. They weren't good themselves, and what good music has come since, as a result of that?

1) 'Depressing' is such an over used term with rock. I remember playing an Elliott song and one of my mates said 'wow, turn this off, it's really depressing', when in fact it had some incredibly uplifting lyrics, it was just quiet.....
2) Rage are/were metal/rap. You kinda generalised a tad there......
