..as I said on MSN though, I wouldn't compare the 3 strikers (Defoe Kanour Pongolle) as only 2 of the 3 have vast Premiership experience; the Spurs strikers.

Pongolle will be a lot better next season though, you can't even deny that :) and with Djibril Cisse coming, and Michael Owen staying (maybe), that will help Flo a whole lot more ;)

But you said it. Pongolle is not half the player of either Kanoute or Defoe, in my eyes he is just your reply to the very promising Aliadiere (is it one word of two? :s). As soon as he came into this frame we have the response from liverpool:

'Oh look we have two incredible new talents Pongolle and Le Tallec', both of whom are utter sh!te to be 100% honest. Neither have done anything for you, and to compare them with the likes of defoe and kanout, boy the DJ needs yet another slap.
