If God exists, why is there suffering?

How can you support a religion that has killed and persecuted people in the past?

I get my teachings from the Bible, and not any spin-off book like the book of mormon.

It's interesting that you distinguish brands of secterian christianity as those you agree and disagree with, yet cite disagreement about details between 'evolutionists' as a reason not to believe any of them.

Though to be honest I get the feeling you're having a giraffe with us all ¦^)

I know, Catholics have some interesting views!!

I saw the re-run of that 'What everyone thinks of god' thing last night (missed it first time round).

Every time they asked that nun something her answer was always 'well I don't think you can talk about god because you can't define him...' Before going on to contradict herself every other sentence. Supurb advert for religion :^)
