I was watching Ali G (Aiii) recently, and this particular interview with a copper sprung to mind :
"So which excuses will a Jury believe?"
"Well, I'm not going to give you tips on what to say to convince a jury."
"What about, if you're chopping carrots with a machete, and you see the bus go past through the window, so you run out the door, but as you are leaving, it kind of falls and lands in your sock, or whatever, and then when you get to the bus, it kind of falls into someone a couple of times, or whatever ...."
