Some of it is just, not sounding gay but its beautiful. Some can be uplifting and relaxing whilst others get me more worked up than a Rage Against the Machine song, it rules.
Some of my favourites would have to be.
Staruss - Sunrise
Pavanne - Faure
Rodrigo - Concerto di Aranjuez
Albinoni - Adagio
Bach - Air (on a G String)
Carmina Burana - O Fortuna
Requiem - Dies Irae
Ride of the Valkyries - Wagner
Carmen - Prelude
Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata
stuff about planets

Yeah.
There's quite a few from that group of pieces of music.
There's a Mars one, which is the most famous. And it's all sort of war like, because of Mars being the "bringer of war".
And there's a Venus one and so forth.
At least, if that's what you're on about.
If not, ignore me. I'll be in my cell.

Is the score for that movie composed by Thomas Newman??

The Final Fantasy soundtrack S Generation has a lot of orchestral based music, and is an all round excellent CD. Not sure if you could strictly deem it "classical" but it's that sort of thing. It maintains a certain mood throughout a song, which I don't feel a lot of classical music does. Obviously, I can only count what little classical music I've heard into that. You'll especially appreciate this album if you have FF7 and 8, and 9 wouldn't hurt (although the songs from 9 aren't as good).
There was like one bit of it that was decent.
But the rest was just crap.
And it was William Orbit, yah.
Gimme the original any day though.
