Lets just watch out, I reckon NIS will come back as somebody else (another new name), he will claim to be a newbie but lets hope we can work these people out, and then there are the name-changers, Tony I feel something should be done, when you join up to yahoo mail they don't give you the option to change your name, only under exceptional circumstances should SR allowed the name changing.

yeah but meka mst of us post from home, so we use the "automatic log in" feature.

Some good points there FM, but if its down to the webmaster then thats quite subjective really. Two people could give the same reasons, but only one may be given the go ahead.

How about, if you change your name, you have to stick with it for 30 days before you can change it back?

OR, theres a thread tucked away somewhere that automatically displays any changes, like YH changes name to eh? Or something like that, that way we can all keep up.

I'm with Er-no on this one, no name changing, but not because of Gameaday, it's because this is discussion forum, and it makes it very hard to follow a discussion if one day someone says something and then carries on the thread under another name but with the same viewpoint again at a later date.

Can you imagine what it would be like if Sniper changed his name on a daily basis? All those one line posts just appearing from all sides? No thanks.

So, along with Er-no I think the name you've got should be the name you stick with. The only way you should be able to change it is by mailing the webmaster directly with your reasons, and it should be down to him and him alone as to whether you should be able to change it or not.

Even if he didn't always say very nice things, making a huge topic will just encourage it!
