Any tips/advice would be much appreciated.
Also any tips on how to make this uni searching easier, they never reply to my emails and never answer the phone.

Actually that has helped, thanks. Not sure about the perfume though, it makes me sneeze, hmmm. Luckily my total score is from coursework, 8 tutor marked assignments and then 1 end of year exam taken at home. It's just finding the time and actually managing to take stuff in.
I just got my first assignment back, marked, it's only a practice assigment and doesn't count towards your final mark but it's meant to show you where you're going wrong before you starting doing the assignments for real. I was really nervous before I opened it, cos I thought this is make or break - and I got 100%, bring it on baby!
Still though, I'm convinced the tutor who marked it was just being nice! Now I'm worried though, cos I have to do my first 'real' one, and it's a lot harder than the first! I'm more worried about the maths aspect cos if you don't understand the formulas, etc. completely it's so easy to make a stupid mistake. Well anything over 85% is a first pass, so hopefully I should be able to do that, and it doesn't actually matter anyway cos I'm going to uni before I get my final results!
Have you finished uni now?

I don't remember much about mine, except that I used the word "ecclectic" somewhere.
Also look for trends in exams if you can get past papers. Often they are on a two year cycle and you can get three years worth of papers.
Using a familiar scent or perfume whilst revising and then the same scent in an exam is meant to help with recollection of facts and figures, but I think that is more of a personal thing.
Also don't over do it. Something has to give but if your revision is not productive because you've done four hours straight then take a break. Also try not to busy yourself with things that seem like work but aren't, like unnecessary filing.
Hope that helps : )

So you're applying for 2005, see that's the scary thing, I'm applying for this year and there's so much to do, I don't even know where to start with my personal statement. How am I going to find a whole A4 sheet of stuff about myself that's going to make them choose me over someone else???
I hate it, thank god I am in my final year.
Do you really hate it? Does the social aspect not make up for it? Where are you studying and what?
Sorry no study tips, I could do with some myself.
I find I sit in front of my computer to revise or whatever, and my brain does anything it can to distract me. I find myself cleaning my room (something I rarely do :D) just to get out of studying. I hate it, thank god I am in my final year.

I'm going to be applying to Leeds for Creative Writing or perhaps a double of creative writing and journalism. The thing is the creative writing class is held out of leeds, which is a pain!
If you do decide to go to Leeds I will see you there next year probably :-)
Organise what you're going to do
Variety
Music if it helps - I like Classical
Good food and some water/tea
Erm yeah
It's just really stressful trying to sort out the biggest decision of your life, especially when nobody at my work has any idea so it's like this covert operation. I wouldn't mind if I had a few gadgets.
What course are you applying for, Paradox?
